The accessibility of smartphones and tablets mean that auto-ethnography is available today, and we are seeing a huge swing towards the authenticity and intimacy of user-generated content in research and the wider video world.
Add Video is our platform. We built in consultation with our clients, to specifically meet the needs of the market research industry, and bring auto-ethnography to an affordable, workable place in this industry.
The full works
As a video company, Add Video is part of a video production workflow. The videos the users record are uploaded to our servers in HD, so we can edit them together to make the perfect debrief video.
The idea to create Add Video was formed out of our terrible experiences working with other auto-ethnography platforms, with researchers having to download low resolution files and preview files, tried to archive them somehow and send us to them. With Add Video, it's all integrated, so you can just review the uploads on our website, and leave us to handle the media.
Tested on farmyard animals
We've tested this app and platform with a range of pigs, geese and chickens to prove just how easy and painless to get started with Add Video is, for both you, and your respondents.
